Data Stored Locally on Your Device Local Only

SimpleRTS stores all of the following data locally on your Mac. None of this is ever transmitted to us or any third party:

• Customer names, contact details, and device information
• Repair tickets, job notes, and status history
• Invoice and receipt records
• Technician names and settings
• App preferences and configuration

You are solely responsible for the security of your Mac and the data stored within the app. We recommend enabling FileVault encryption and keeping macOS up to date.

Purchases & Subscriptions Payments

SimpleRTS offers in-app purchases and subscriptions processed exclusively through Apple's App Store via StoreKit. We do not collect, store, or process any payment information. All billing, receipts, and payment data are handled entirely by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.

The only information we receive from Apple is a confirmation that a valid purchase exists on your device, used solely to unlock the relevant features.

Data We Do Not Collect Zero Collection

SimpleRTS does not collect, transmit, or process:

• Personal information of any kind
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Any data linked to your identity or device for tracking purposes

There are no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking frameworks integrated into SimpleRTS.

UK GDPR & Your Rights Legal

Because SimpleRTS does not collect or process personal data on our servers, the majority of UK GDPR obligations relating to data controller responsibilities do not apply to our use of your data. The data you enter into the app is under your sole control as the data controller for your repair business.

As a repair shop operator, you may be processing personal data belonging to your customers within the app. You are responsible for ensuring your use of that data complies with UK GDPR and any other applicable data protection legislation.

Data Retention & Deletion Your Control

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete any data at any time from within the app. Uninstalling SimpleRTS from your Mac will remove the application, though local database files may remain in your user library folder and should be deleted manually if you wish to remove all data completely.

Children's Privacy Age Policy

SimpleRTS is a professional business tool intended for use by adults operating repair businesses. It is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of SimpleRTS after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
